The Wayne Public Library has various rooms available for various purposes, ranging from large public programs/lectures/meeting/presentations, to mid-size instruction, small meetings, and individualized study.

When a room is not being used for a library or library-affiliated activity, it may be available for use by the public in compliance with the Library’s Meeting Room policy, PLEASE READavailable here.

***Requests will be reviewed within 24 hours during standard business hours and days. Requests made on weekends or while the library is closed for whatever reason will be reviewed on the next standard business day. All reservations are considered unconfirmed until a requestor receives an electronic confirmation or denial.*** PLEASE READ and REVIEW the Time slot(s) you are selecting before submitting your request.

For those using Room A/B:

Upon arrival, please present a printed or electronic copy of the e-mail confirming your reservation to Library Staff at the Circulation Desk, located at the main entrance.

If a member of your party arrives before the person who reserved the room, they will only be allowed access to the room if they present a photo ID and assume full responsibility for the room as outlined in the Meeting Room policy.
Staff will make a copy of the ID to have all pertinent identifying information. Any copy will be shredded upon release of the room and review by a staff member.

 
(Max 12, capacity) (Age Requirement: High school freshmen - Adult)

For those using the Computer Training Room:

Upon arrival, please present a printed or electronic copy of the e-mail confirming your reservation to Library Staff at the Reference Desk, located towards the center of the library. If a member of your party arrives before the person who reserved the room, they will only be allowed access to the room when the person who reserved the room arrives. 

 
Quiet Study; (Max 3,capacity); Preakness Room; (Mac capacity 9); (Age requirement: High school freshman - Adult) (2 hour session- no more than 1 request per day will be accepted.)

For those using the Quiet Study Room or the Preakness Room:

Upon arrival, please present a printed or electronic copy of the e-mail confirming your reservation to Library Staff at the Reference Desk, located towards the center of the library.

Upon check-in to the Quiet Study Room you will be presented with an electronic badge to access the room. You will be required to leave a form of ID or alternative with the Reference Staff to ensure that the electronic badge is returned when your reservation is finished. If there will be more than one person for the reservation, the person who reserved the room must be present in order to access the room.


Museum Passes
All passes are available to Wayne Residents only and must be checked out to a Wayne Public Library cardholder and returned to the Circulation Desk (Front Desk).
Please call all museums before visiting.
